17/11/2017SIMPRO FLIGHT TRAINING ANNOUNCED AS NEW BRAND NAME

Owners of the Glass Simulator Center have announced the new name for this facility is now SIMPRO Flight Training. Conveniently located on the Aurora Municipal Airport (KARR), 35 miles west of Chicago, SIMPRO Flight Training center was recently remodeled with an updated pilot lounge and new classroom with the latest audio-visual equipment. SIMPRO pilots arriving for training have access to discounts on fuel, hangar space, local lodging and meals, as well as complementary use of courtesy vehicles.

17/11/2017JET AVIATION GAINS EN9110 CERTIFICATION AND OTHER APPROVALS

Jet Aviation is pleased to announce that its maintenance facility in Dubai has been awarded EN9110 certification following an independent audit. The company has also gained EASA, FAA and GCCA approvals for the Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) family, as well as EASA approval for the Bombardier Global BD700 series.

Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, today announced it has selected the following universities for the 2018 Top Hawk program: Middle Tennessee State University, University of Dubuque, Lewis University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Prescott and California Aeronautical University. Each university will take delivery of a new, custom branded Cessna Skyhawk 172 to support flight training, university recruiting efforts and promotional activities throughout the year.

16/11/2017EGYPTAIR SELECTS LEAP-1A ENGINE FOR NEW A320NEOS

Egyptian flag carrier EGYPTAIR announced that it will lease 15 new Airbus A320neo aircraft powered by CFM International’s LEAP-1A engine from AerCap.  The airline is scheduled to begin taking delivery shortly.
