Jet Aviation has signed a preferred Fixed Base Operation (FBO) service agreement with International Jet Management (IJM), an aircraft management and charter company based in Schwechat, Austria, near the Vienna International Airport.

Jet Aviation has recently been awarded two medical evacuation (Medevac) conversions at its maintenance facility in Basel. An Embraer Legacy 600 is being converted for a customer in Asia. For a customer in the Middle East, an Embraer Legacy 650 conversion is underway.

02/06/2017JET AVIATION BUILDING A NEW WIDE-BODY HANGAR FOR COMPLETIONS AND RMUS IN BASEL

Jet Aviation is building a new 8,700-square-meter, wide-body hangar in Basel to replace the facility’s existing hangars 3 and 4. The new hangar 3 will add 4,550 square meters of hangar space and 2,000 square meters of shops and offices. It will also see the ramp extended by 5,000 square meters. Construction will begin in August 2017, with completion slated for Q4 2018.

Jet Aviation has announced that, together with its joint venture partner the Al Mulla Business Group, it is outfitting a brand new facility in the shared terminal at Dubai South. The company plans its DWC FBO to go operational at the VIP Terminal in Q3 2017.

Jet Aviation has signed a joint venture agreement to establish an aircraft management and charter operation in Malta. The company is working to obtain an air operator’s certificate from the Civil Aviation Directorate in Malta, which it expects to receive in Q3 2017.
