GKN Aerospace has been awarded a contract by Cessna Aircraft Company, a subsidiary of Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, to supply the nacelle systems to house the HTF7700L turbofan engines that will power Cessna’s new Citation Longitude super-midsize business jet.

Jetex Flight Support announced today that it has entered into an agreement with EOLO for EOLO’s FBO to become a co-branded facility. As part of the agreement, the FBO located in Toluca, Mexico will start operating as Jetex-EOLO this November, adding to Jetex’s worldwide network of FBOs. Toluca is the most important airport in Mexico for Business Aviation with Mexico being the second biggest market for Business Aviation in Latin America.

17/11/2015THE SECOND PILATUS PC-24 PROTOTYPE IS AIRBORNE

The second PC-24 prototype (P02) took off from Buochs Airport today at 10:06 a. m. on its maiden flight. The "Super Versatile Jet" with call sign HB-VXB flew across Central Switzerland for a total of 82 minutes. Following on from the maiden flight of the first PC-24 prototype (P01) in May of this year, this first flight by P02 marks another major step forward in the Pilatus PC-24 development programme.

17/11/2015HONEYWELL STRENGTHENS IN-FLIGHT INTERNET, AIRTIME CONNECTIVITY OFFERINGS WITH SATCOM1 AQUISITION

Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire privately-held Satcom1, the leading provider of on board communications routing software and a satellite communications provider of airtime and consulting services. The acquisition positions Honeywell to offer operators a seamless experience with an all-in-one connectivity solution spanning routing software, airtime, hardware equipment, avionics, flight support services and applications. Revenues for 2015 are expected to be approximately $25 million. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2015.

Quest Aircraft Company continues to expand its worldwide market penetration of the KODIAK. The company recently delivered the first KODIAK to the Philippines as well as receiving type certification for the aircraft from the country’s Civil Aviation Authority. The aircraft was delivered to Subic Air Inc., who is using the KODIAK for air charter.
