TAG Farnborough Airport today announced that it has been certified to the internationally recognised ISO 14001 standard for its commitment to environmental management. Miles Thomas and Holly Reeves from the airport's Environment Management team were presented with the certificate by Allyson Lewis and Luke Lambourne from SGS, an independent auditing body, on 13 November 2015.

16/11/2015JET AIRCRAFT OWNERS WITH NCC LEGISLATION LOOMING ON THEIR RADAR!

As most private jet aircraft owners and operators are already aware, as from August 2016 significant changes are mandated for those private jet operators based in Europe. These changes are as a direct result of the implementation of EASA Air Operations Regulation (EU) No 965/2012 (or Part-NCC) which applies to all non-commercial flights in “complex” motor-powered aircraft. So from 25 August 2016 private jet operators will have to adhere to very similar requirements as required under an Air Operators’ Certificate by all commercial air transport operators. Fortunately for those owners and operators who do not have time to spend writing an operations manual, Av8jet Ltd have been working for some time on NCC solution for private owners and operators in advance of the implementation of these regulations. Called Av8sms, it consists of four specialist tools.

16/11/2015328 SUPPORT SERVICES CONTINUES SUCCESSFUL MRO SUPPORT TO GERMANY’S

328 Support Services GmbH announced today the signing of a follow on five-year maintenance contract with German-based business aviation operator Private Wings GmbH (PWF).  Private Wings is one of the largest Dornier 328 operators in Europe, operating a fleet of eight 328-100 turboprops and two 328 jets out of its base at the general aviation terminal of Manching Airport (near Ingolstadt).

Lufthansa Technik AG's new seating concept, chair[TM], has passed all 16g and 9g certification tests for forward and aft facing installations. This certification allows owners, operators, and designers to choose from thousands of possible chair[TM] configurations to match the need of a particular cabin environment.

Both of Raisbeck Engineering’s newly designed propeller models have been released for customer orders. Both incorporate unique swept-blade technology, so important in dramatically quieting the cabin and cockpit noise levels. Both are manufactured by Hartzell Propeller Inc. in Piqua, Ohio.
