AMAC Aerospace proudly announces that several contracts with new and existing customers for maintenance packages on Airbus A318, A319, Boeing BBJ and Gulfstream G550 have been awarded to the facility in Basel, Switzerland. In addition to that, AMAC announces the return to service of three aircraft after a heavy maintenance input at AMAC’s headquarters in Basel.

The official opening of the new RUAG Aviation component repair center in Subang, Malaysia, confirms the aircraft provider’s commitment to the region. The center serves the company’s position as a component services hub for aviation customers and OEMs in Asia. The announcement of the opening follows on a successful audit and European Safety Agency (EASA) Part 145 approval.

Bombardier Business Aircraft announced that its segment-defining Global 7000 aircraft program completed the successful maiden flight of its first flight test vehicle (FTV1). This first flight marks the start of a flight test program for the newest member of Bombardier’s flagship Global aircraft family, which is scheduled to enter into service in the second half of 2018.

Jet Aviation’s Maintenance Center in Basel recently signed an agreement with an undisclosed customer that will have the company perform its 10th C-Check on a Dassault Falcon F7X. Jet Aviation completed its first C-Check on this aircraft type in April 2015.
